School Counselors

Mrs. Doucette

Ms. Doucette is the School Counselor for all students, grades 1 - 4.


Guidance Teaching focuses on opportunities for learning and development in these areas:

Personal/Social ~

Support students in acquiring the knowledge, attitudes, and skills to help them understand and respect self and others.

Academics ~

Help students recognize and take pride in themselves as competent learners, and acquire skills for improving learning.

Career ~

Assist students in understanding the importance of decision-making, goal setting, and responsibility -- and their connection to the world of work.

Mrs. Jeffords

Mrs. Jeffords is the School Counselor for all students, grades 1 - 4 and the ECLC


Guidance Counseling involves working with:

Students ~

Varying levels of counseling are offered in individual and group formats on an as-needed basis.

Teachers/Staff/Administrators ~

Classroom teachers, para-educators, administrators, and the counselor work closely together on situations needing the counselor's attention.

Parents & Guardians ~

Consulting with parents/guardians is an integral part of every child's ability to succeed in school, across a variety of circumstances in the life of a child. When necessary, parents/guardians can contact the counselor to discuss concerns that are academic, social, emotional, or behavioral in nature.
